The amazing Canonteign Falls it is situated within Dartmoor’s national park in the heart of Devon’s teign valley. This stunning waterfall surrounded by woodland and nature is simply breath taking there are some scenic walks you and your family can enjoy Lakeland wildlife walk being one of them this is a haven for wildlife chances to spot kingfishers bats butterflies and the extraordinary dragonflies and damselflies that live here.
If you’re lucky you may even see an otter. You cross a bridge over a stream this takes you into a meadow that owns some amazing oak trees. All these walks are utterly breath taking. There is also a children’s play area and children’s assault course to keep your little ones happy whilst you are enjoying a coffee from the lakeside restaurant.
Canonteign Falls is really a wonderful place to visit whatever your age on your own or in a group. Torquay is another wonderful place to visit within Devon with its great night live and superb restaurants, Babbacombe model village, Pagination Zoo, Torquay theatre or cinema The English Riviera a place loved by many holiday makers, Beaches coves and 22 miles of coastline you can surf, swim go sailing, angling or simply take in the beautiful views and wildlife that surrounds you.
